Help Desk Analyst
Kenyon’s New York office is seeking a Help Desk Analyst (Level 2). The Help Desk Analyst will be responsible for assisting the end user's with IS related problems and ensuring a timely resolution to those problems such as: providing quality desktop support and service with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and a primary understanding of the firm's environment and applications. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools and escalation to appropriate personnel.
The Analyst's responsibilities will include: providing on-site technical support and customer service for all technology related issues, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving software and hardware issues, such as Microsoft Office, FileSite, Mobile Devices (BlackBerry and iPhone), and Printers. The successful candidate will apply diagnostic techniques to aid in troubleshooting, learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the firm, such as Microsoft Office and Filesite document management. Handle conference room and videoconferencing setups, provide software or hardware solutions for problems or requests, support and assistance as needed for new application installations, follow-up on tickets to ensure customer satisfaction. A major aspect of the position will be to field help requests and troubleshoot issues in a courteous manner, provide backup telephone support for Level 1, record, track, and document the help desk request process, including all actions through to final resolution and escalate problems to the appropriate person within the IS Department. Litigation Project Assistant
Kenyon’s New York office is seeking a Project Assistant who will assist Attorneys, Case Managers and Paralegals with litigation case projects in area of Intellectual Property. The ideal candidate is a graduate or a current student who has an interest in the law profession and is considering attending law school. Science or engineering background and foreign language fluency are preferred, but not required.
The Project Assistant will perform the following duties: organizing, updating, and maintaining litigation files including client files, pleadings, expert materials, deposition materials, correspondence, organizing and coordinating production of discovery documents including labeling, categorizing, redacting, copying, chronologizing, summarizing and indexing of such documents. Additional duties include: preparing litigation files for depositions including conducting factual research, searching of litigation databases, preparing, indexing and organizing transcripts and exhibits, preparing for hearings/trials including creating, indexing and assembling trial exhibits, witness files, pretrial motions, attendance at trial and appeal, utilizing various resources to compile information and perform internet searches, including online legal research services and assisting with special projects on an as needed basis, including willingness to work overtime and travel as necessary.

Technical Translator
Kenyon’s New York Office is seeking a German Technical Translator to join our Translation Department. The successful candidate will translate from German to English patent applications and documents in the following fields: automotive engineering, general electrical and mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, telecommunications, chemistry, metallurgy, medicine and law. The applicant will also maintain and improve the firm’s translation memory and terminology database.
Applicants applying for this position must speak fluent German and English and have a strong engineering and/or science background. Must also possess in-depth knowledge of technical German with concise technical writing in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, SDL/Trados translation memory tools and internet searches is highly desirable. Ability to manage work flow, produce high quality output, adhere to deadlines while demonstrating a meticulous concern for detail and accuracy.
