Working with local counsel who filed the papers, Kenyon won a motion to dismiss with prejudice a patent infringement suit brought against 62 defendants, including client Toyota Corporation. The case, filed in the Northern District of Illinois by inventor Samy Gharb, was dismissed by the Court in light of the plaintiff's complete lack of substantive allegations and repeated failure to heed the guidance of past Court Orders.
