Case No. 98-478 (January 5, 2005) The U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware granted summary judgment of non-infringement in favor of Boston Scientific Corporation and Medinol Ltd., finding that the NIR stent sold by Boston Scientific and manufactured by Medinol does not infringe four Medtronic patents. Medtronic was seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages in the suit based on the sales of the NIR stent.
