William G. James, II, D.V.M.
At Kenyon & Kenyon LLP since 1996, Dr. James’s practice includes patent litigation in the chemical, pharmaceutical, medical, mechanical and biotechnology fields as well as counseling and prosecution in those fields and others. Recently, his practice has focused on biotechnology litigation, litigations arising from the filing of Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) under the Hatch-Waxman Act and district court appeals of interference decisions. Dr. James’s patent litigation experience includes all aspects of the litigation process from pre-litigation planning and counseling through trial. Dr. James has coordinated activities on large multi-defendant coordinated ANDA litigations. Dr. James’s practice also includes work on licensing, due diligence and technology transfer matters. In addition, he has participated in several appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Dr. James is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
