NEW YORK, June 3, 2009 – The intellectual property law firm Kenyon & Kenyon LLP today announced that Megan Whyman Olesek, who specializes in technology litigation, has joined the firm’s San Jose, California office as a partner.
Prior to joining Kenyon & Kenyon, Olesek was a partner at DLA Piper and its predecessor firm, Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich.

Olesek, an experienced trial attorney both in district courts and before the International Trade Commission, has successfully represented clients in patent infringement cases involving voice response technology, semiconductor fabrication, server systems, hotkey functionality in notebook computers and online security systems, among many others.
In addition to patent infringement cases, Olesek has litigated trade secret misappropriation, trademark, copyright and commercial actions.
She has experience in all aspects of litigation practice, including pre-litigation counseling and appeals.
Olesek is a graduate of the University of California, Davis School of Law.
